Sleep Over!

I decided a month ago that I wanted to do a little going away party for Emma and a few of her friends. Well it was a week ago and I decided that I just needed to do it so instead of making cute invitations I called all of there moms "bad right." Oh well at least I got it done. I had all of the girls meet at Valley Curls and some of the girls I work with helped me make all the sweet girls feel very pretty, not that they aren't already. What little girl doesn't like to be pampered!Kim painted all of there finger nails and even added a cute design!
Reina was pretty popular with all of them, they all wanted her, So cute!!!
Jodi and her little girl Jacee stayed and had fun to, I think Jacee had a lot of fun with all of those girls!
Tylee was so cute with the girls and they had fun with her as well!!!
I just love this picture it's all of there sweet little hands, and super cute nails!!!

Gotta Love the silly face's!
We had so much fun they made bracelets, ok I finished them cause they got tired of it. My mom made sugar cookies and they decorated them with frosting and a whole bunch of sprinkles, I don't know if any was on the cookie or just the floor lol...
They played make-up and dolls!
And it was 9:45 and I thought they should calm down a little, they are only 5 and 6... They watched a couple of movies...
These are the girls that stayed all night and I can't believe it no one got scared or started to cry. I was worried that this was a hard age for a sleep over, but they did so good. In the morning they were so funny they all figured out that all 7 of these girls were in Mrs. Billingsly's class so they were all laughing about that.
All of these little girls are super sweet, most of all they are just kind to each other and have a lot of fun together. I know that Emma will really miss all of them and we hope to maybe come back to Mesquite some day but until then, maybe they can all keep in touch!!!
Emma is thankful for so many fun friends!!!

Valley Curls Girls!

We went to Texas Road House for our Valley Curls Christmas Party. We always have so much fun together, the conversations that seem to always come up keep us laughing. We are Lucky to have such a fun group of girls who work together and help each other out.
Jodi, Staci, Tylee, Reina, Kim, Mindy, & Jenna
I have been very Lucky to be able to work with Staci and Jenna, even though we are family we work pretty good together. Sometimes our attitudes come out and we know we need to stop teasing each other, but I guess that just comes with a group of girls. I love them both very much and am going to miss our Working Days...

The Temple!

We had the funnest activity last week, maybe it's because it's going to be my last one. We went up to the St.George Temple and walked around the visitor's center, had pizza & hot chocolate, listened to our advisers bear testimony, and walked around the Temple grounds. It was nice to just get to spend time with all of the Young Women...The Bee hives and a couple that have moved up into Mia maids, I have been in Young Women's for a couple of years now and I just love it. These girls are amazing and have strengthened my Testimony.

Grandma Sue

I guess I just wanted to take the time and think of what a special Grandma I have. This time last year we didn't think that she was going to make it another year. Well I am happy to say that she is still here with us this Christmas season! It's not always perfect but for the most part she is doing well, we are always just laughing because she does some of the funniest things. If we didn't laugh then I think it would be hard to watch especially cause she gets so mixed up, I think it helps us all deal with it a lot better. I feel very fortunate to have been able to grow up so close with my Grandma she is such an amazing person and she has taught me a lot over the years. I just want to say Thank You to a wonderful lady who is so Loving to me and my Family!
With us moving after Christmas I think I am just realizing how Lucky I am to be surrounded by so many family members. I am going to miss all of them but I feel as it comes closer that no matter what I will have a good relationship with them because I will continue to try. I hope that distance doesn't get in the way of that.

Merry Christmas Ethan!

Ethan Mendenhall is a little boy in our neighborhood who just found out he has, Stage IV neuroblastoma Cancer. His family moved to Mesquite in September, and mine and Ginger's kids have played with him a lot. Ethan and his family went to Salt Lake City for his second round of Chemo, and while they were gone out side of there house was an empty Christmas tree. Ginger Slack decided it would be way fun to have the kids decorate ornaments for Ethan's special tree outside. We knew he wanted ornaments of BYU but we didn't know where to find them in Mesquite.
Instead we decided to make our own!
Canyon, Gavin, Raeanna, Emma, & Mya all painted ornaments out of cookie dough. They had so much fun they each did about 10 of them. We made Jar lid ornaments and put pictures of the kids and also some of Ethan and his Family. This is our completed Tree and all of the kids!

We just want to wish Ethan and his family a Merry Christmas and let them know we are always thinking of them and Praying for Ethan to stay STRONG and FIGHT this cancer.
YOU WILL WIN LITTLE GUY!!!

Best Friends

I have been wanting to go and take some pictures of these 2 girls some where fun, well it just didn't happen we did it in my backyard. I have to say it doesn't matter where you take them because I got exactly what I wanted, to see the friendship that these 2 girls have. Emma and Raeanna have been friends since the 1st year they went to pre-school, and lucky for us they moved across the street a year and 1/2 ago. They are even in the same kindergarten class, poor Mrs. Billingsly.

Friends Forever...

I just love this one they both just look so pretty...

Things they like to do together:
Play with dolls, dress up in each other's clothes, play make-up, hang out with Gavin and Canyon, walk to the bus together, go swimming, Be SILLY GIRLS, the list could go on and on...
Definitely not saying that they are always best buds cause they are girls and do get mad once in a while. But it has never lasted longer than an hour if that...
I just love this picture it shows how much they enjoy being around each other...
I am thankful for Raeanna and Emma's friendship because it has also allowed me to become friends with Ginger. They are a neat family and I have really enjoyed them as neighbors and friends. We are truly going to miss them when we move but I know that we will always be good friends...

Thoughtfull Christmas helpers

I have to start by saying I have the best family ever!
I haven't wanted to put my tree up this year, with the whole move and the mess I already have at my house. I knew I needed to for the kids I have just been waiting till I could get excited about going and getting all the stuff "that's what Shawn usually does" Well anyway last week Jut came to pick Koby up and he asked me if they could help me put my tree up I thought that was really sweet. That same night Jenna called and said that she wanted to help me put my tree up, and she said she asked Jut if they could do that. Well he had already planned to do it without her even asking.
We always tease Jut cause we do so much family stuff, well I think we are wearing off on him and he likes to be together to.
The next morning I went to my mom's to drop off the kids and she asked if they could help me put my Tree up. By this time I started to wonder if they were planning this because they felt bad for me. Well that wasn't the case they were all just concerned about me and wanted to help cause they knew I was struggling with Shawn being gone. I am so Lucky to have such an awesome family who care so much and just want to be there for me.
I made dinner and my mom brought sugar cookies and we decorated them with frosting and sprinkles. I love this picture of Grandma she always does what I say when I take her picture. Isn't she the cutest little lady ever!
Gavin and Emma had so much fun putting the decorations on the tree, it wasn't to organized but what can you say when they are helping. Also Koby and Trayvin were throwing the ornaments around thinking they were balls, glad they were plastic.
Thanks to my Mom, Dad, Jenna, Jut, & Grandma for helping us put up our Christmas tree! We are so Lucky to have a family who think of us when we most need it.
We sure do miss our DAD, and next year he is not getting out of putting up the Christmas tree cause we will be TOGETHER...

Thanksgiving Day

We had a really good Thanksgiving, we were able to spend the day with both sides of our family which I always enjoy. It was really nice to have Shawn home for a week and just get to hang out and not have to worry about anything or do anything. We were suppose to go to Dunmont for the week but decided we needed to get other stuff done, well that didn't happen either. I am so thankful for a wonderful husband, and my 3 kids.Gavin, Trayvin, & Emma
Gavin is always in the kitchen wanting to help
I am thankful for both of my sister's Andrea and Jenna, they both mean so much to me and I enjoy the time that we are all together. Lately they both have constantly been checking on me to see if I'm ok and it really is nice to have them both concerned. I am really going to miss the both of them when we move but I know for sure that we will always be close cause that's just the way we are!!! I am so thankful to have such an amazing Grandma, she brings so much joy to my life and my kids as well, "That is when they aren't arguing." She is someone who I have always looked up to in so many ways, she is patient, kind, loving, understanding, and spiritual, well the list could go on and on. I am so lucky to have been able to grow up around her all of my life and to be able to learn from her. It has been good for me to watch the way she is with Emma they have the sweetest realationship and I am thankful for that, the boys not so much they are to loud, and are just boys. Everyone should have a GRANDMA SUE!

I never got any pictures of my mom and dad but would also like to say I have the best parents and am thankful for them and all they do for me. Most of all they are the best examples in everyway. I am definatly a better mom when she is around because I know if I get impatient then she is right there to correct me. If I had half of the patience that my mom has I would be way better off, she see's the good in everyone and I admire that. My dad is also a good example and just is there to support the decisions we make and let us know that he is here for us. Shawn's parents are also very good to us and I am thankful for them and the time that we spend with them my kids just adore all of their grandparents. It means so much to me that they are all apart of our life.

I am just so Thankfull for family and all that they have taught us!

Random Pictures!

Emma And Reggi were being so silly, and of course Emma did both of their crooked pig tails. Trayvin is so funny, Emma was taking a bath and all of a sudden I went in there and he was in the tub diaper and all, he had the biggest smile on his face. Since the first time, he has gotten in a couple other times, I guess I just need to make sure when someone gets in he does to. CHEEZERS
Brotherly LOVE
They were actually in trouble because they were throwing rocks on the tramp, but it was still cute so I took a picture.
Koby had so much fun being pushed around in this cart.
Gotta love these faces!
The kids were going up to check on the horses and to give them some hay. I stopped them to take a picture cause I thought it was super cute.
This is when they started going again I love watching them play together and helping each other.
