2009 was a good year!!!

I wanted to remember all of my fun event's we had in 2009... What a great year and I have so much to be thankful for. I have an awesome husband and 3 beautiful healthy kids. I am so lucky to have such a fun family who we all love to spend time with...

I am anxious to see what 2010 brings I hope it's as good as last year... We have made a huge change and I hope that it's a good thing for our family. I know I am going to support Shawn no matter what so here is to a new year!!!

Shawn's new attire!!!

Ever since Shawn started doing Aflac the first time in Mesquite, I tease him!!! I think the only reason he likes this job is because he gets to dress up... Ok maybe I might be a exaggerating a little but I just like to mess with him... He had to buy a dark suit for a meeting, and had fun trying a bunch of different one's on. He ended up getting 2 because it was buy one get one free, I don't think that was really the case but WHATEVER...

When he brought them home he had to try them on, he was so funny I couldn't resist getting my camera out. Shawn is such a pretty boy and I always tease him about it!!!!I do have to say he does looked really good, I have enjoyed seeing him all dressed up everyday!!!

Gavin's Party!!!

We decided to have Gavin's b-day party at this super fun park, especially cause my apt. is waaaay to small... Sydney and Emma had fun climbing...

This swing was a hit with all the kids. Madison and Presley wanted to take turns swinging with Gavin, He has 2 sweet girlfriends.

Emma always looks like a dork when I take her picture lately!!We had pizza, it was getting dark so we had to hurry. I did a normal Mindy thing: he got to the pizza place to pick it up and they didn't have our pizza, I guess I ordered from the wrong town oop's I wasn't paying attention to the flier. Shawn had to wait an extra 20 min for the pizza...

We decided to go back to Brett and Rachel's house to open presents and eat some cake!!!

Taz Manion Devil: While he was opening his presents he was seriously going so fast that you could hardly see what he got. You would have thought he didn't care what he opened. After he opened all of them he did go and see what everything was so I felt better about that...

I had to make my first birthday cake this year Gma Sarah always makes the cakes. I did use her recipe for it, and it turned out super yummy... I did miss all the help with everything, Thank goodness for good family members...

Thanks Gma Sarah and Gpa Lyle for the presents he got a skateboard, outfit, some tools, and of course they always put money is his account thanks again!!! Thanks to his dad he no longer has a skate board, he was trying to do some tricks like he was cool. I guess he's just to big for a little boys skate board...Thanks Gma Collette, Gpa Dave, and Gma Sue for the blocks, and money. He got some of these blocks for Christmas and has had so much fun with them...

Gavin and Presley love playing play dough, so thanks for my own set!

Andrea and Jenna sent him a gift card so on Saturday we went and let him pick out something, he got another truck. I guess I never let my kids pick toys out in the store he didn't really know what to do... Staci sent something in the mail Gavin is excited about getting that...

What a fun Birthday this turned out to be, we were lucky to have the Bigelow's, Shakespears, and the Webb kids to celebrate his Birthday. We sure did miss everyone else that usually comes, but thanks for all of the presents...

Gavin goes to pre-school!!!

This is Gavin's new teacher for pre-school, Mrs. Wallaert. She is really nice and he enjoys going to school all except the coloring part. He came home and said "I just don't want to go to school any more" We said why, he said "I just don't like to color it's too hard." He has decided that he does like it and he enjoys going with Presley. It's a little longer here 2 days a week and 5 hours long, they take a pillow and blanket and get to have quiet time.

I was going to keep him home play with him, and help him on his learning. Until he kept saying I want something to do. I think he missed going to school and just being around other kids. I decided it was good for him to make some friends and get out a little...

Thanks mom for this Bosch now I just have to use it. Which now that I can't go to there house for good mashed potatoes, yummy cake, or cookies. I guess I just have to start making my own. Since it was Gavin's birthday the Bosch came out twice... I made Marianne's yummy sugar cookies, and I also made Gma Sarah's cake which, she always does chocolate but I did vanilla. It was still super good! I can't make any more dessert's for a while, I think I have gained a few pounds. Oh well I will just have to try some bread or something else in it.

So if anyone has any good bread recipes send them my way!!!

I guess Gavin liked the cookies that we made, he was the first one to try them out...

Park time!!!

Our walk to the park, Rachel told the kids every time she said Freeze, that means stop. This is a Freeze pose, yeah Emma is a weirdo!

Tray is so cute in this picture, this slide was really tall. He pushed all the kids down and would laugh so hard, he never did go down.

I love this picture besides all the snot.

This is the most I have ever gone to park's but the kids have enjoyed it. They ask to go almost every day, oh well I guess it's something to do.

Playing in the leafs!!!

There were lot's of leaf's outside of the Bigelow's house. The kids had so much fun jumping in and then raking them back into a pile. And of course it's always a picture moment for me.

Made some FRIENDS!!!

This is Presley she has been so fun for Gavin to have as a Buddie. She is Brett's little girl and they have played really good together. Gavin kept saying he wanted to go to school, we finally decided to put him in a little pre-school, with Presley. I had a hard time going from $45.00 a month to &190.00, but I think it's good for him. The only thing he has said about it, is that he doesn't like to color, I guess that's just a boy for you! He also says he misses MS. Kim. I am glad that the 2 of these guys have become such good friends.This is Jori Scott's little girl. Emma was excited to move here to be close to Jori. They have done really good together, Jori is a year older than Emma so they have different interests. At first Emma wanted her to be with her the whole time and Jori just wanted to be by Tray. Now that Tray is boring, Jori and Emma have so much fun together, they have had a couple sleepovers.
This is Madison Shakespear, we met them at a McDonald's to play when they first met. They were both quiet at first, and now they have fun together since they have seen eachother a few times. Gavin is surrounded by girls!

This is Sydney, Emma and her connected good the first time they met. They seem to be into all the same stuff, make-up, dress-up, dolls and all the girly things!

I have enjoyed having all these kids for mine to play with. More than that I have had fun hanging out with the 2 Rachel's, yeah both of them are named Rachel... Rachel Bigelow has been so sweet to make me feel at home, we have had dinner together, gone to the park, & drop each other's kids off to play.
Rachel Shakespear has also been way fun, I knew her in Mesquite just through the shop... It has been good getting to visit with her as a friend. I am thankful for both of them it's made this move a lot easier. Of course I will always miss everything at home, that will never go away...
I am just trying to stay busy, so that I don't get to home sick and just cry all the time. Which I do sometime's, especailly when I know something is going on and I'm missing out... I guess I just have to get use to it RIGHT!!!

Sleeping arangments!!!

I knew I should have never let Emma and Gavin start sleeping together once Tray was born, because I knew I would regret it. Well that time has come, these kids have been so funny since we got to Texas. Before we moved, I let them all sleep with me since Shawn was gone. Well it took a little while after getting here to get them to stop coming in my room. Some time's they still do, but I am doing better about walking them back to there own room. I'm trying to get back to the way I used to be. Once you start something they think it's ok, oh well RIGHT!!! This is the way they would sleep every night if I would let them. It's a twin bed so I don't think it's very comfortable. We got this new bunk bed, at least new to us, from Scott and Kim. We were way excited because Tray was coming out of the crib and we needed something for the boys. I thought that the kids would be way excited to sleep on it. I only got Gavin to sleep on the top a couple times and Emma once. Almost every night I put Trayvin in Emma's room, Gavin and Emma sleep on the bottom bunk. Well the other night I thought this was so funny!!! Gavin and Tray finally slept together and Emma slept by her self, "WOW" that was a first. Emma always wants to sleep with someone else. Well in the middle of the night, Tray came into my room and I went to take him back and realize that Gavin was not there. I looked in Emma's room, and there he was laying on 3 towles for a pillow. I just thought it was so cute. So from now on, I'm sure it will be Emma and Gavin, then Tray by himself, sad for him!!!

Happy 4th Birtday Gavin!!!

Wow I can't believe Gavin is already 4 years old, it's crazy how fast time goes by... As I was looking through Gavin's baby pictures, it was so fun to see the change and how he has grown. All I had in my computer was starting at the age of 6 months old, the rest are at home on disks in a box. Gavin just always seems to put a smile on my face and has since he was a baby. I can honestly say he has been my easiest kid and I don't mean to send favoritism his way, he just has been a good kid. I think mostly he just has a sensitive side to him and I kinda like that for my little boy...His first birthday cake, "What a mess"

Gavin on his 2nd Birthday!!!
All Gavin ever wants for gifts most of the time are balls, he has played with balls ever since he was able to throw one. What's scary about that is that he is always pretty accurate so you have to be ready to catch at all times. For his 3rd Birthday he got some cool shorts a soccer ball and a shirt, he put all these things on and as you can see they don't match. He is so funny about clothes and what he wears...
Now my little Guy turns 4 Happy Birthday Gavin!!!
I just want him to know how thankful I am to have him as my little boy he brings so much joy and peace to our home. His little smile just melts my heart which gets him out of a lot of trouble, at least with me... Gavin is a big helper and enjoys just being around everyone.


Thing's Gavin enjoys:

• Going to Grandparents house's and spending the night, I swear he would spend every night away from home if we would let him...

• Playing with any kind of Ball, he can dribble pretty good, throws even better... In fact him and his dad love to play dodge ball.

• He is very picky about what he wears I think he gets that from his dad, I usually have to put at least 3 different shirts on him, he's a mess!!!

• The thing I cherish the most about Gavin is his TENDER HEART!!!

Emma check's into Hart Elementary!!!

The Morning Emma was starting at a new school, she wasn't nervous at all she was so brave. I didn't know how she would do with out knowing anyone, but I guess that's just one of my kids not to attached to mom... She keeps saying I am a Leopard now not a bulldog but hey for me she will always be a BULLDOG, at least hopefully someday... This is Emma's new teacher Mrs. Nguyen, she was so sweet. We were sitting in the office and she came in and said this must be my new student. With out waiting for us to be checked in she took us to show us the class room and where they meet before school. I think Emma is enjoying her new class and has made a few friends. Which is hard because she keeps wanting to play with them and we have no idea how to get in touch with them. Oh well that will come I guess, we just miss our neighbors it's so nice to just run across the street and play with the Slack's... Her teacher sends out e-mails to let parents know what's going on which I think is a really good idea, I have enjoyed keeping in contact with her. So far Emma seems to be doing really good in school, I am happy she is adjusting well...
